Made for an Erik Satie tribute CD released on the Arbouse label from France, in 2011. My original plan was to make a piece using a field recording made in Satie's old apartment, but access to that space was no longer possible. After much agonizing on my part and much patience on the part of the label, I finally sat down one afternoon and made this at the very last minute. The power of the deadline! It uses a similar filtering process as that in the Chamber Music series, but applied to very different source material.
