Recorded during a one-month artist residency at Santa Fé Art Institute in Santa Fé, New Mexico. All tracks are live improvisations using objects found on site, recorded in an artist's studio with concrete floors and high ceilings (natural reverb). Minor editing and EQ were used to remove unwanted background noises or to condense longer pieces, but otherwise heard as played. My intention was not so much to "play" these objects, in the sense of a musical instrument, but rather to activate them, to explore their sonic possibilities with minimal preconceptions.
